    First Wife: Elizabeth Emory Due (Dew) – was John Roger’s first wife, and the granddaughter of Ludovic Grant, the Scotsman. She was the step-mother of Jenny Due (Dew). Elizabeth was married to Robert Due (Dew), an Englishman. Obviously he had been married before and had a daughter, Jenny Due (Dew).

I’m not sure which Eliza Rogers or Cynthia Rogers this is referring to, since there are several.

"Eliza Rogers attended Dwight School. She was “active in body and mind, and made rapid improvement, which was neutralized however, by being exposed to the wicked example of her father’s house.”

"Cynthia Rogers left with a white man who already had one Cherokee wife. Cynthia attended the Dwight School. Cynthia was “active, amiable, vain, giddy, and fond of dress and impatient of wholesome restraints . . .She absconded with a most worthless and abandoned white man who had another Cherokee wife.”
