Christmas Tips
by Kriss Colville

Tip #1 – answering machine: You can change the answering machine message to wish your callers happy holidays.
Tip #2 – Christmas movies: pull out your Christmas movies, and stack them up. Try to have the whole family watch together, and pop popcorn, light the fire—have fun!
Tip #3 – decorate: help your parents decorate the tree, and inside the house. You can even help string the lights outside, but stay away from high areas. Make sure you play Christmas music while decorating.
Tip #4 – dinner: help plan Christmas dinner with your mother. Check out new recipes on the internet, and in magazines. Decorate the table with candles, and other holiday ideas.
Tip #5 – invitations – make your own Christmas invitations for your party. Cut out a Christmas tree from green construction paper. Make a snow man from white construction paper, fold in half, and pass out at school.
Tip #6 – presents: you can be a big help to your parents by helping with the gift wrapping. Gather everything you need, and have it all beside you. You’ll need: scissors, wrapping paper, scotch tape, ink pen, tags, and ribbons.
Tip #7 – santa: don’t forget to leave a drink, and a small plate of treats for Santa on Christmas Eve.
Tip #8 – Christmas joy: spread Christmas joy wherever you go. Be kind to people, and respect others holiday celebrations such as Hanukkah, or Ramadan, or whatever they may, or may not celebrate. Kindness goes a long way in showing your character.
