Easter Tips by Kriss Colville Tip #1 – basket for parents: why not fix up a basket for your parents for Easter? You could put in items such as shampoo, soap, hair products, and candy. Look around the house, and see if you can find things that they might need. They’ll be so surprised on Easter morning.Tip #2 – basket for teens: if you have teenage siblings, or friends you can decorate their Easter basket with special items. Along with candy, add make-up for girls, or socks, shampoo, etc. for boys. Tip #3 – cookies: if you like to back cookies for Easter, use some cookie cutters in the shape of bunnies, eggs, or baskets. Your cookies will look great for the holiday. Decorate with colored icing, and tiny candies. Lay out on a decorative platter for all to see. Tip #4 – Easter dinner: help your mom prepare dinner, and arrange table decorations. You can decorate your table with colored eggs, and a cross with flowers. Don’t forget to light candles. Tip #5 – Easter worship: Attend Easter service at your church. Lent services are offered in most communities, but are held during the late morning. If you are a student, you will not be able to attend, because you will be in school. Many churches have an Easter program held in the evening. Tip #6 – letter from Easter Bunny: For a fee, many websites will send personalized letters to your child from the Easter Bunny. To save money, you can personalize and print one from your own computer and mail it to your child. c:2000jcpinkerton
