Exercise Tips

 Fun Ways to Exercise:
Work out with your friends, and you’ll have twice the energy. Here are some ideas for having a girl exercise party:
Tip #1 - if you have a pool, invite friends over, and throw a beach ball back and forth to one another. Swimming is a great way to exercise your whole body.
Tip #2 – play badminton in your yard, or go for a game of tennis at your local recreation area.
Tip #3 –have a game of softball in your yard.
Tip #4 – play crochet.
Tip #5 – have a cookout in your yard, and enjoy yard games.
Tip #6 – when you feel tense, or overloaded with stress try some breathing exercises to relax you. Breathe in slow and deep, and then breathe out slowly through your mouth. Try this several times, and you’ll feel much better.
Tip #7 – stretch your muscles: warm up each morning with a few deep breaths, and some simple stretch exercises. Sway your hands back and forth in the air as if you’re trying to flag down an airplane. Pretend you are walking up a set of steps by lifting one foot at a time. A few short exercises each morning before a good breakfast will get your blood flowing properly, and you’ll be ready to learn all that you can in school.
Tip #8 – at school: during school you will probably take part in different exercises and sports. These are good for your physical development as well as your mental awareness. During weekends, and holidays you might want to continue doing some light exercises in your bedroom or family room. That way you’ll keep good circulation flowing through your body and mind.
Tip #9 – at home: start your morning with a few good deep breaths. Raise your arms up to shoulder level as you breathe in through your nose, and then lower your arms slowly as your breathe out through your mouth. There are many ways to get exercise such as skipping, running in place, bicycling, swimming, or walking. If you go for a walk after a meal it aids in digestion, and remember to stop snacking at least two hours before bedtime.
